Hi all,
I'm struggeling with the decoding of CAN-FD ISO signals. The displayed "stuff bit counter" shows a wrong number which seems to be a binarily decoded signal. It should be using the GRAY code to show the correct number.
In the sample attached it should be a "7" (1-0-0) but shows a "4". I did some testing and found the following:
stuff bit count | displayed value
0 | 0
1 | 1
2 | 3
3 | 2
4 | 6
5 | 7
6 | 5
7 | 4
Any help to solve this is appreciated.
Thanks and regards, Guido

Hi GuidoW,
The stuffed bit counter should be using Gray code. While we are looking into this, do you have an example data file that I can pass on to our development team.

Gerry

Re: Decoding CAN-FD signal
Thank you for the files.
Our development teams work on a two week sprint cycle and they have added this to the current one which started on Monday. I will be able to update you later in the cycle.
