Picolog command line control

Post by MisterT » Tue May 28, 2019 11:17 am

Hello,

I've both 3406DMSO and 4444 models and have just tried the PicoLog software. Can I control this via commandline and batch files like Picoscope 6 can be used.

I want to use the in-built logging facility and display but wrap it in a C#.net GUI from which it can be controlled.

Alternatively can it be controlled directly using an API ?

Thanks,
Mark.

Hi Mark,

There are currently no automation commands for PicoLog 6, so you would need to use our SDK to control the capture of data directly. You will need to select the 32-bit or 64-bit variant, depending upon how you are going to run the application (i.e. you won't be able to use the 64-bit version on 32-bit Windows).
  • You can download the 32-bit version of our SDK from here: https://www.picotech.com/download/software/sr/PicoSDK_32_10.6.13.97.exe
  • or the 64-bit version from here: https://www.picotech.com/download/software/sr/PicoSDK_64_10.6.13.97.exe
  • You can download example code, demonstrating basic capture functionality from here: https://github.com/picotech.
