Understanding "zero offset" and its use with 4444 ?

Hi Forum. Not clear to me how I short-circuit differential inputs. With 441 for example, is it with differential inputs or is the ground clip involved ?

Re: Picoscope 6 toolbar configuration ?

Hi Hitesh. Thanks for responding. I think my tablet with 12" 2160x1440 resolution is quite representative of the playing field for what is a useful display for Pico so hopefully you will implement. In the interim, there is hotkeys.

Picoscope Windows 10 scaling issues and related

Hi Pico. Configuration is Samsung Galaxy Book 12" tablet at 225% scaling ( needed for my eyes) running Windows 10 with a 4444. Some zoom controls are off-screen to right. Is there anything I can do to a config file manually to choose what items appear in top toolbar as I don't e.g. "Home", "Auto Set...

Hi Picoscope. How many mating cycles are these 4444 D-sub connectors rated for ?

Re: Custom protocol decoders ?

Good stuff lab!fyi. Just read about the CLI stuff in Picoscope 6 User's Manual. I'm still hoping to get a response from Picoscope on the following questions from this thread: The other possibility is leveraging something like sigrok which I think makes all the sense in the world given the protocols ...

OpenDocument Spreadsheet export thumbs up

Just commenting on how nice it is to see the use of a standardized, open format for spreadsheet export. I've been shoehorned to use Excel importers and exporters for my data for too long. Thank you Picoscope

I appreciate efforts of creating webpages and github repositories for showing programming/streaming examples.

Re: Custom protocol decoders ?

Thanks for interesting reply. I suppose you tried MATLAB although you ultimately want to display in Picoscope? I agree, this kind of extensibility would be awesome, but it is only possible if software has it as original design goal and even then it seems hard to do really well particularly by compan...

Picoscope 6 Waveform Library

Hi forum. As I look through the Picoscope 6 User's Guide, I wonder about the inability of non-automotive scopes to share waveforms in the same way as automotive scopes. Ok, I understand the business aspect of making waveform library available only to those who pay the premium of 4225/4425, but then ...

Re: Custom protocol decoders ?

Hi Martyn. Thanks for replying. I have several protocols I wish to look at, but my question is about providing a framework to allow people to decode new ones. I'm guessing not an easy task for an individual to create such a framework using your SDK, but yes possible. I think it would be easier for y...

Re: Custom protocol decoders ?

or better yet, how about sigrok support for assorted Picoscopes ? I just stumbled on PulseView and it looks way cool with lots of protocols. It looks even more extensible with its own HOWTO:

Custom protocol decoders ?

Hi Forum. I really like the way Smartscope has allowed for the creation of custom decoders. I think this would be a useful addition to Picoscope software. Possible for Picoscope to do something similar ?

Re: Pressure transducers powered by Picoscope 4444 ?

Thanks for info Benno. Would be nice if Picoscope exposed this PicoConnect ( correct term ? ) stuff including it's control with API so people can create custom/sensors and embedded apps. I'm considering using this scope as the basis for a guided test platform for a particular industry. I think it is...

Re: Picoscope software 10MS/s streaming, 4444 capable of 50M

Thanks for reply. I'd like to use the mask or persistence to show glitches over time without the need to record data. I'm not sure what sample rate is needed yet, but I noticed this limitation in documentation. Also see that automotive scope is capable of 20MS/s.
