Re: Regarding j1939 and J1708

Hi, The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) developed these standards. Starting in 1990's- J1708 is the physical layer (i.e., or wiring), and J1587 – the message layer or data format. This had a limited speed of 9600 bits/second. Then later J1939 was created with speeds of 250 Kbits/second then up...

Re: Measuring DC Current

A shunt resistor would be the most accuracy, until the power resistor becomes to much. Above say an amp then a current clamp would be a better option. The most accuracy logger to do this would be the ADC-24. Has 24 bit ADC, with multi voltage ranges. ( 7 ranges from ±39 mV to ±2500 mV) If you need a...

Exporting PicoScope 6 Measurements

I created a batch file which uses a pico macro to save every measurement from each buffer in a psdata file. But you have tell the batch file how many buffers there are in the psdata file. To use- 1. Open the your saved psdata file, note the number of buffer waveforms. And set up the measurements you...

Re: IMD Measurements Using Picoscope 3206

The FFT calculations work by using the full bandwidth from 0 to the displayed frequency which is based on the sample rate. Even if picoscope software could be set to display say from 40-60MHz it would still use the 0-60MHz bandwidth of the scope. So you need to use the zoom function. In your case yo...

Re: 2204A or 2205A for audio measurement ?

The 2204A or 2205A would be fine for the general audio measurements you mentioned. 2200 series specs- https://www.picotech.com/oscilloscope/2200/picoscope-2200-specifications I would expect the 2204A would be fine for slew rate measurements it has a Analogue bandwidth of 10MHz and a sample rate of 1...

Make a backup copy of the folder- On Windows 7/8 C:\Users\YOUR_USERACCOUNT\AppData\Local\Pico Technology\64...... On Windows XP C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USERACCOUNT\Local Settings\Application D...

Re: PicoScope 5000 series using LabVIEW2014 64 bit

Hi Ahmad,

We don't have any general start capture function in our API. You need to do this yourself in your labview vi.
You can just use the labview run/start button in the vi.

Re: How to install Picoscope using an unattended installatio

The certificates have been fixed in 6.10 and there is now one Pico certificate. Development are not going to fixed the installer (to auto install the certificate) until picoscope 6.12 :( I have tested installing the certificate from the command line- Certutil –addstore –f “TrustedPublisher” .\pico.c...

Re: File.SaveAs

Hi Rudolf,
The SaveAs command does not have these options. I will created feature request for this.
Unfortunately not every feature in Picsoscope 6 is available with the command/macro functions.
From a command prompt type

Code: Select all

picoscope.com /a ?
to list all available commands.
