Re: Error due to low resolution

One addition to answer of Gerry, the resolution enhancement is actually a moving average. So if you have a short anomaly (short spike or dip) you will barely see it in the results. Or even worse you wont see it if it is a short enough spike or dip. Be aware of this when you use resolution enhancemen...

Re: Win10 PS6 and PS4444 Zombie Lockups

if you start teamviewer in te laptop and node the number and pincode then you can leave it alone and login remotely using the code and pin. I suggest first try it somewhere where you can acces both machines (e.g. at home and at the office) We use a little program called call_benno (sorry for the nam...

Re: Win10 PS6 and PS4444 Zombie Lockups

Every trip to the field is at least 2 hours roundtrip not including prep time and requires official customer accompaniment for site access. I have made four so far this week and it's taking a toll If you are syncing to google drive with 3g. Why are you not using something like teamviewer to acces t...

Re: TC08 (USB) "Crosstalk" between channels

- Checking voltage between the 5V pressure sensor power and the laptop ground reads 0.2VDC
Have you tried AC measurement on this.

Re: Installing two versions of PicoScope?

OK then an other solution (if you haven enough RAM) use a windows-XP virtual PC (optional in borderless mode) and start the XP version from the virtual PC.

Or even simpler remote desktop in to the win-xp machine in the workshop.

Re: Signals 'stop advancing' across screen

The trigger is only valid after 5 sec of starting the capture.
so start capturing wait about 10 sec an then trigger.

or set your trigger diamond at the start of the trace.
If you want to trigger directly after starting the trace.

Re: Monitor CanBus Signals

How do you hookup the peak usb unit ?

This has a 9 pin Sub-D connector on it.
You can hook the scope to the same connector where you normally use the Peak-USB, or is the Peak-USB part of the system ?

Re: Picoscope software 10MS/s streaming, 4444 capable of 50MS/s

we are almost 2 years later now. Any progress on increasing the 100MS and 16.6MS/s limit for the 4444. Running on i9 12 core (24 threads) and 32GB ram the 1.6% CPU usage, so preserving PC resources is no excuse. Maybe a test om at startup a check for CPU and RAM and: - increase the 100M limit if RAM...

Re: TA 300 Current Probe

Message send, but all at your own risk of damaging the TA300 probe.

I strongly suggest you buy
https://www.picotech.com/accessories/cu ... -probe-4mm

because it is almost the same cost as the components you need to use the TA300 without the 4444 scope.

Re: Visual Studio Compiler setting for my library using PicoScope 3403D p3000a.dll

MD for release build MDd for debug build. I use 1 thread for reading the data from the DLL and another thread for processing / decoding the data. In-between there is some sort of memory FIFO queue so any hickipus in the processing / decoding wont result in missing data from the scope. P.S. I would o...
