PicoScope 6 startup time

Yesterday the startup time of the PicoScope 6 program got annoying, while I was showing some pre recorded samples to my colleges. So today I decided to measure the start-uptime without the USB scope connected. It took about 30 seconds before the main screen appeared, the splash screen was there imme...

Re: Save data for only displayed part?

Any news on this future request, or save data between rulers is also a good alternative if possible.

Re: Math channel number format

Do C[-0,006] and C[-0.006] give the same data ? Are you changing the system wide region and number format ? They give the same data after I change system wide region number format. I changed the number format to US and it works as expected (besides the crash on big data) When I change the number fo...

Re: Math channel number format

Also when using the math on a big sample set picoscope crashes when I enable the math channel. psdata file http://www.ans-net.nl/picotech/20130725-0011.psdata (60MB) math channel definition (C[-0.006]+C[-0.012]+C[-0.018]+C[-0.024]+C[-0.030]+C[-0.036]+C[-0.042]+C[-0.048]+C[-0.054]+C[-0.060]) / 10 Reg...

Math channel number format

I try to make a math channel moving average and it seems the number formating is not working for the formatting 1.000.000,00 when I use the US style 1,000,000.00 it seems to work C[-0,006] is accepted but C[-0,006]+C[-0,012] is not accepted. When using US number format style the following is accepte...

Re: CAN decoding broken in latest beta.

this was due a frequency inverter injecting noise into the CAN bus. The freq. inverter had a CAN on board controller.

Re: CAN decoding broken in latest beta.

The anomaly's I am looking for are as shown in below image. http://www.ans-net.nl/picotech/can-freq-inverter-noise.png In the above sample a frequency inverter was bringing the CAN bus to its knees, but only during starting of the motor. Caused by a lose shielding of the motor cable. A 60MB psdata f...

Re: CAN decoding broken in latest beta.

I use a yokogawa 700925 DIFFERENTIAL PROBE probe. http://tmi.yokogawa.com/products/oscilloscopes/voltage-probes/700925-15-mhz-differential-probe/ This is probably the same as your TA041 differential probe. On the decoding of small samples I will test this when I have acces to a machine. Regards, Benno

Many thanks for these samples.

I don't have much time at this moment, but when I have some time I will experiment with your samples.

Re: Control PicoScope over TCP

The other instances were of crashed PicoScope programs, they were not visible on the screen but still consuming about 1Gig of memory. They showed up only in the task-manager. This was because I was working with big datasets and the PicoSocpe seems not too stable with this big datasets. The automatio...

Re: CAN decoding broken in latest beta.

Test with the latest release candidate 20 is the same problem of not correctly decoding CAN.
Same sample used as above, also tested with a sample with 10MSamples/sec but same problem.

Re: Control PicoScope over TCP

Problem solved, PicoScope crashed several times on my system and left 5 incances of PicoScope.*32 open in the task manager.
After I killed all instances of PicoScope.exe*32 and restarted the PicoScope program the automation commands work as expected.
