I use this one from conrad for my 4444 scope.

I suppose they have also smaller ones.

Re: Two Signals - Two Grounds

Firs thought was No, but if you use both channels and subtract them on both scopes.
You can start 2 sessions of picoscope (1 for each scope unit)

Re: Best practices for using a large number of scopes

What is the sample speed you want. e.g. 100 k samples / sec or 100 m samples / sec What bit resolution do you want 8 bit or 12 bit. This scope does not have an external trigger input so there is no way to trigger them all at the same time without sacrificing 1 of the 8 inputs for trigger. Also USB3 ...

Re: Non intrusive 4-20mA loop monitoring

What about measuring the voltage over both wires. If you know the internal resistance of the PLC or measuring device. You can calculate the current. It is relatieve simple to use a math channel for this. Note: don't connect the ground clip of the scope to 1 of the wires. Use 2 channels to measure th...

Re: Pico 3203D Signal Generator low frequency roll off

you need to set the timebase so he have at least 2 full waves on the screen (actually 1 full is the limit)

I get 545 mv p-p on my 3403D at 1 Hz and timebase at 200 ms/dev
and the same at 0.4 Hz and 500 ms/dev.

Re: How can the probe measure a signal without the ground?

If it is low voltage < 20V that is the way to go. You have some special scopes like the 4444 who have floating inputs but also only to 20V. If the voltage is above 20V than you need to use

Re: How can the probe measure a signal without the ground?

because all grounds of the scope are connected. so the ground of the sig gen is connected to the ground of the scope. The ground of the scope is also connected to the ground of your PC. That is the reason you need to be cautious where you put the ground clip of the probe, it is not like a multimeter...

I have seen some strange things on high sample rates compared t decode clock rate (ratio of 10:1) us usually the best so in your case at 1Mhz clock 10 - 20 Msample/sec rate

It would be nice to show the I2S decoded data in the analoge view together with the analog input data.
