Re: PicoScope 4444 low pass filter API

The function is in the API, currently not coded into the ps4000a examples as these cover scopes that don't have the feature. ps4000aSetBandwidthFilter() – enable the bandwidth limiter PICO_STATUS ps4000aSetBandwidthFilter ( int16_t handle, PS4000A_CHANNEL channel, PS4000A_BANDWIDTH_LIMITER bandwidth...

Re: Streaming mode at high sampling rate

The 6407 is not part of the PicoScope 6000 series that use USB3 which is why there are two tabs here it is a USB2 only device. Continuous streaming is limited to 9.7MS/s using our PicoScope 6 software, and a bit higher if you ...

Re: PL1000 overflow

In this case "Overflow" means that the voltage is out of range, not that samples have been missed. As this is a unipolar device this can actually occur when no signal is connected to the input channel as a voltage of 0V or just a fraction below due to system noise will cause this flag to be set.

Re: Which DLLs do I really need?

You will nee picoipp.dll as well from the lib folder. You will also need the files from the System folder located in the SDK installation directory, these are the lower level USB kernel drivers. Ideally your installer will run the dpinst.exe (Microsoft's driver package installer) located in the fold...

Re: Time difference between analogue and digital signal

We are aware of an issue where the digital channels are out of sync when you enable filtering on any of the analog channels, and are looking at a resolution for this.

Can you repeat your test turning off the filtering on Channel D and see if this fixes the problem for you.

Re: How to use setPulseWidthQualifier?

But unfortunately this seems not to be the answer. With those settings the trigger style seems random in the sense that every now and then it triggers perfectly as it should be (top case in the picture) and the rest of the time the auto trigger fires (set to 5s). The test signal is 1kHz. Just to co...

Re: Cyclic logging and file save

Currently there is no automatic saving of data files after a set time period. The PicoLog 6 software has been completely redesigned and stores to a database which can collect data safely for extended time periods. The software is still under extensive development so if you have specific requests ple...

Please contact support@picotech.com for advice on isolators, it is not just power that is a factor the way the drivers work can cause some isolators issues.
