Re: SDK with 2207B

Firstly make sure that Tools->Preferences->MaximumWaveforms is set to a value >= to the number you wish to collect using rapid trigger. Then try a normal repeat trigger and what you will see is the waveform count at the top increment buffer by buffer as the scope triggers, displaying the last collec...

Re: Gap time between buffers

Example code is available on https://github.com/picotech in different languages. You will need ps4000a ones for the PicoScope 4824

One question before you go down this route, how many channels of data collection do you need and at what desired sampling rate ?

Re: SDK with 2207B

You need the ps2000a examples for the 2207B, not the ps2000 ones.

Re: Can I measure dirty electricity with 2204A and TA375?

I have removed the link to the video.

Do not use passive probes for mains measurement, it is dangerous. You will probably damage one or more of the probe, the scope, the PC, or yourself.

You need to use appropriate CAT rated differential probes or an isolation transformer.

Re: Programming a bandpass filter

Sorry for the slow reply due to the current situation. There are a number of items that are available within the PicoScope 6 software that are not available in the SDK, filters included, as the SDK is designed specifically to allow you to setup the scope and collect data. There are currently no plan...

Re: RPM from a Hall Sensor

Sorry for the slow reply due to the current situation. If you go to Tools->MathChannels->Create and then add a math channel freq(A) if you signal is on A. Make sure that you tick the box to enable the one you have just created when you see the list of math channels. You will now have a graph with fr...

Sorry for the slow reply due to the current situation.

I would suggest that saving a psdata file with the required settings for a particular test and then reloading this file would be the safest method of configuring the scope each time.
