Re: New Picoscope 2000 series owner

As mentioned the 2000 series scopes are not designed for Automotive use and as such will not work with our Automotive Software and DIagnostic Tools.

For information we also have a dedicated Automotive Forum

Re: Wrong voltage dysplay

As our scopes have a 1 MOhm input impedance you would read a 1V output from a 50 Ohm pulse generator at around 2V.

Re: 16bit streaming mode 62,5 MS/s @ 60 MHz- 5k or 6k Series

16 bit mode is only available on a single channel with the 5000 series devices, and the 6000 series are 8 bit only.

I would suggest contacting support@picotech.com to discuss you requirements in full detail and the team will be able to advise on suitable options.

Re: Missed PicoScope.exe after restart of computer

Is this possibly some over aggressive virus protection working on your PC ? and you just need to mark the Picoscope.exe file as safe.

Re: Wrong voltage dysplay

What is the output impedance of the pulse generator, and what is the input impedance of the analog oscilloscope ?

Re: Picologger version 6.1.13

Have you pressed the red record button on the top bar, this will flash when it is actually recording data.

You will then get asked questions about your recording, continuous, fixed time and stop, fixed time over writing data.

Re: Picoscope retaining file handles

Tried with the same PicoScope build and Windows 10 64 bit Build 1903 OS build 18362.449 and it seems to be working fine for me. The file saving uses standard Microsoft components so it could be a .Net issue but can't be sure. Could you take a quick video showing it falling over, or alternatively sen...

Re: Picoscope 6 across different models

The majority of features are available across all models including serial decoding which works with both analog and digital channels. You just need to ensure that you can get around 8 samples for each bit of the serial bus. One main feature "Deep Measure" is not available on the 2000 series as it re...

We would need to see a psdata file where it triggered even though the trigger signal was too low, then we would be able to comment.

Re: How to use setPulseWidthQualifier?

Unfortunately the current setup with PicoScope 6 for a PulseWidthTrigger requires the end of the pulse to occur to be considered an active trigger. I believe you probably need some combination of Pulse Width and Level Dropout so if you email support@picotech.com one of the team can see if they can c...

Re: Readability of screen information and customer feedback

Two things to help :-)

Firstly if you select the Measurements menu at the top you can change the font size which will help with readability.
Secondly if you hold down the control key and click on the highlighted measurements, the highlight will be removed

Re: Streaming DataRate

If the buffer fills up then you won't lose data straight away, instead it will back up using a fifo buffer on the device. With a deep memory device this offers good protection as when you start emptying the drivers buffer again it will be able to refill it from the device using the full line rate US...

You are referencing the 3000 series drivers and examples which are for a much older device, you need the 3000a examples for your device LabVIEW 3000a
