Re: Pico 5243D at Rapid block mode, While Waiting for a trigger event I can not do anything

In newer LabVIEW code I have added stop control for the IsReady loop, as it will always return zero if waiting for a trigger.
It will also exit the loop if the IsReady function returns a non-zero status code. ie error code
See below 6000a API function;

Re: Can I use math channel in LabVIEW software?

Hi,
Yes Picoscope 6 Math Channels use the downsampled data for calculations.

Re: Can I use math channel in LabVIEW software?

Yes the Picoscope 6 Maths Channels are done in software, the scopes hardware is not used.

Re: Getting probe type

Hi, Yes the 4444 supports our PicoConnect Probes which can be detected by the scope, as done in the PicoScope 6 software. This can be done via API/SDK, but requires the use of callback functions which are not supported in LabVIEW so you need to use the wrapper functions. The steps are described in t...

Can you give more details on which programming language you are using?
Also what OS you are using; Windows/linux etc and if its a 32-bit or 64-bit OS
Which version of the SDK packag are you using or dll driver version?
Could you email these details and your code if possible to support@picotech.com

Re: How not to damage the oscilloscope?

Hi,
Yes you are correct. And if you use the scope with a scope probe set on x10 you can measure upto 200V (dc+peak).
But these have no CAT rating so DO NOT measure mains referenced circuits.

Re: Install path

Hi, No the installer does not have the option to select a different location. But you can install Picoscope 6 to the default location, and then move its folder; C:\Program Files (x86)\Pico Technology\PicoScope6 (64-bit OS) to the new location and it will still work. You will need update any desktop ...

Re: Inconsistent RMS computation

Hi, For measurements the columns Min, Max, Average are calculated from the last N number of waveform buffers shown in the 'Capture Count' column, when the scope is capturing waveforms. So these values don't update when opening saved files. The 'Capture Count' column changes to 1 when opening a saved...

Re: No AWG signal for 10ms when changing settings

Hi,

Looking at the LabVIEW code for the AWG example I can see no delays in the code.
Could you send a psdata file from PicoScope 6 and a screenshot of the front panel or LabVIEW code of the AWG.
Have you tried updating to current version of SDK? https://www.picotech.com/downloads.

Re: Pico 2206b PICO_STATUS unknown error

I have corrected some errors in the https://github.com/picotech/picosdk-ni-labview-examples/blob/master/ps2000a/32-bit-examples/PicoScope2000aExampleBlock.vi example. But this is unlikely to fix your issue. The issue you having is the Pico dll functions names are all followed by -2 This happens to s...

Re: 3 phase power measurment using 4824

We do have this for single phase power measurements for both PicoScope 6 and LabVIEW. See below. We have not done this for 3 power measurements, you will find maths formula and examples on the internet, if you wish to do so. Doing this with PicoScope 6 may become busy, visually as you can only have ...

Re: Simultaneously trigger acquisition and generator

Hi Victor, A1. Connecting the generator to the external trigger input and setting the scope to trigger off the external trigger. This would always align the generator output to the scopes trigger. You may add some sample jitter, over the other method. A2. About the introduced delay of the second sol...
