Re: 3 phase power measurment using 4824

We do have this for single phase power measurements for both PicoScope 6 and LabVIEW. See below. We have not done this for 3 power measurements, you will find maths formula and examples on the internet, if you wish to do so. Doing this with PicoScope 6 may become busy, visually as you can only have ...

Re: Simultaneously trigger acquisition and generator

Hi Victor, A1. Connecting the generator to the external trigger input and setting the scope to trigger off the external trigger. This would always align the generator output to the scopes trigger. You may add some sample jitter, over the other method. A2. About the introduced delay of the second sol...

Re: Picolog 1216 1 ms sample rate setting

Hi, I think you may have an older version of software that was limited to 1 second sample rate. You can download the current version here- Current Picolog 6 stable version for Windows Mac and linux versions can be found...

Re: Simultaneously trigger acquisition and generator

Hi, There two possible solutions; 1. Call ps...SigGenSoftwareControl() to trigger the AWG directly. -You would need to use a channel to also capture AWG output to trigger the scope on +output of the AWG will align with the scope trigger -slower if you need to do this in loop 2. Set a block or rapidb...

Re: USB Lead Length

Hi,
The max length for USB2 is 5 meters, this is in the USB standard. If you require longer you would need to use powered usb hubs for each 5m USB cable or try a USB extender.

Re: High current probes for CM3

Hi, Here are range of clamps, note some have BNC connection and not 4mm banana connectors. You need to use adaptor cable with the BNC connects for the CM3 4mm sockets. I have not listed prices here, but the passive clamps (no battery) tend to more expensive than the active powered clamps. Pico clamp...

Re: PicoScope 2204A with LabView

Hi, You no longer need to copy the dll files. If you done this I would delete these copies. Just install the SDK and download the labview files from the github repository. Full instructions are here- https://github.com/picotech/picosdk-ni-labview-examples/blob/master/README.md 32-bit block example i...

Re: Function generator

Hi,
No, the Max. output from our scopes function generators is only +/-2V and some models are only +/-1V.
Also the output frequency resolution will vary depending on which PicoScope model you use.

Re: Acquiring Signals in 2208B

When you say you set the 'overview buffer' that must mean you are running the streaming example? You can set the streaming examples to capture continuously, with the autostop off. Or are you using the block example? As 500MHz sampling is not possible in streaming mode? (2208B 9.6MS/s max in streamin...

Re: Difference between rapid block bulk and rapid block

Hi, 'PicoScope5000aExampleRapidBlock' pulls each segment block of the total capture one at a time, calling 'ps5000aGetValues' each time. So you could modify this example code if you only want a few segment blocks at a time, to process etc, before asking for more.(see PicoScope5000aExampleRapidBlock....
