Re: TC-08 data logger providing values in channel without thermocouple

Hi Gary, I'm reminded of the fact that the TC-08 will show the ambient temperature from measurements of the cold junction temperature for the channel, inside the unit, as soon as the channel is enabled. So, if this is what you were referring to then there is no need to send the device in to us. Rega...

Re: Where is the math menu?

Hi jsiscart,

There are no Math Channels on PicoScope 6 for linux. These should be in PicoScope 7 for Linux.

Re: calibration report for a TC-08 (after sale and delivery)

Hi Giuseppe,

We don't hang on to Calibration reports for sold products. If you want one then the thing to do is ask for one at the point of purchase.

Unfortunately, you would need to return the TC-08 to us for calibration, if you still need a Calibaration Certificate.

Hi Xelectro,

Could you send your issue in to our Helpdesk via support@picotech.com, so that we can issue you a returns number in order to get the probe returned and resolve the issue.

Hi the other Tom,

Assuming that you were using the beta for the Ubuntu distro, you can download from here: https://www.picotech.com/library/picosc ... -for-linux.

Re: Use PicoScope as a Phase Locked Loop comparator and VCO?

Hi sheimend, You could adjust the Signal Frequency based upon your capture data, but the PicoScope would be more like a stepped VCO, as you would have to capture the data, (a time delay of a capture period) establish a USB connection (delay of anywhere between <10ms to 10's of ms) transfer the data ...

Re: voltage leak change in data

Hi Damian, I apologise for the delay in responding to this. The TC-08 Terminal board/adapter already divides voltages down and has a voltage divider on the 5V connector which is a 100K resistor in series with a 1K resistor across the Channel input. So, what you need to do is just add another 100K re...

Re: ARINC-429 serial protocol decoding

Hi Damian, I apologise for the delay in responding to this. We don't as yet, have a repository for serial decoding link files. Did you have a link file to share, or were you just looking for one. This is currently being looked into, for a few of the available protocols, as to whether we will provide...

Re: Regarding the binary file capture from picoscope 6000

Hi maitry.raval, If you're referring to the file size being a problem, so that you only want to capture the raw data, then the .psdata file format is the smallest file that you will be able to create. If you're referring to capturing a Serial Communications Protocol, then your 6000 series PicoScope ...

Re: Setting or changing default setup parameters, series 5000.

Hi jacasey, If you mean that the data from a previous session created on the a laptop would be available on the same laptop, when they plug the PicoScope in, then yes, that is true. If, on the other hand, you mean that the user will be able to see the data from the previous session on a different la...

Re: 2206B PicoScope 6 persistence mode

Hi Maks, This is not what I am seeing. Also, the Demo mode simulation is not a good comparison against using a real PicoScope, with all of the real world constraints associated with that. Could you create a Video of what you believe the issue is (if you use a tool such as ScreenToGif, you should be ...

Re: Alarm Timing

High Mtak, In the SDK, you would just set the Digital Outputs in response to analyzing the data (for your PicoLog 6 alarm condition). So, the rate at which you could change the Digital Outputs would depend upon, the conversion time, the time to check if the data meets your alarm condition and then s...

Re: ADC24: does it support NPN pulse (rpm) logging?

Hi Sedex,

Yes that would work if you're given RPM, and if you use Excel to count edges. Glad you found your solution (just make sure that you're aware of limitations due to the ADC conversion times).

Just out of curiosity, what sort of spec are the mini PC's?
