Re: Capture and compare using 2405A

I would suggest that the use of reference waveforms may be a good way to achieve this. Please see the appropriate section in the A-Z https://www.picotech.com/library/a-to-z

Re: 2205A settings for CAN trace

Do you mean use the device for CAN Serial Decoding? Technically yes as the serial decoding is performed post data collection in the software, however the low on board memory of the device will limit the amount of data you can collect. If the device switches to streaming mode to use the PC memory the...

Re: Connecting PS 5443D to LabVIEW

The error code 5003 means the device can't be found. This may be due to not installing the correct SDK from our downloads page to match your LabVIEW version 32bit or 64bit https://www.picotech.com/downloads, or more commonly because you are trying to run the ps5000 examples and not the ps5000a ones ...

Re: nosetests for picosdk-python-wrappers

The person who wrote this is no longer at Pico but I believe it means to run the tests at the root level of the repository located in the test folder https://github.com/picotech/picosdk-pyt ... aster/test which are nosetests, and not run a script called nosetests.

Re: nosetests for picosdk-python-wrappers

Code: Select all

To run the unit tests, you will need to install nose (e.g. pip install nose.) Then, run nosetests in the root of the repo.
This is referring to the additional package "nose" which you need to install, it is not part of the picosdk-python-wrappers

Re: TC-08 - How many Terminalboard 4-20 mA can i connect?

Where did you see "2x5V max as a restriction"

In theory you can connect 8 terminal boards to the TC08 as it is just measuring a voltage that is scaled appropriately, the same with 4-20mA

Re: Picoscope AWG LabVIEW

When the red led goes off the AWG should be generating an output on the BNC. What have you connected this up to as you will see nothing in the LabVIEW example.

Re: Serial decode table not present

In the screen view it looks like the table is there but right down at the bottom so you can only see the title - Serial Decoding. Can you move the mouse down to the line between the bottom of the graph and the title bar and the cursor should change to allow click and drag. If this doesn't work can y...

Re: Measuring digigal signals on MSO

Gerry is correct about Deep Measure but it is not available for the 2205 MSO, but what you can do is use Tools->Math Channels and create a Math channel that is a copy of the digital channel, then the measurements will work on the Math channel.

This will be addressed in PicoScope 7.
